More Chaos than wanted

So I spent the last few days organizing myself. It is overwhelming to deal with all the documentation and paperwork that comes after you lose your job. From insurance documentation to filing unemployment to all the paperwork that comes from your past employer… TONS to do!

I almost went in a panic mode honestly… just so much to handle and take care!

I decided to use my devices to my advantage – used the reminders on my phone to set priorities and send me reminders to finish tasks.

Used calendaring to set alarms and reminders – I was literally so absorbed in all this chaos, I forgot to pick my kid from school for heavens sakes!
Its amazing how fast time flies by when you have so much to do – During work days, 8 hours seemed forever in a workday – haha.

Now, hours fly by and I have no idea what I really accomplished.

Everyone is different though – I am very focused on making each day count – as I am sure many of you do as well.

For me, a day should have something I did, something I completed, something I started and all that in between. I can come up with stuff to do around the house or run chores etc. without a problem. My mind runs in a million directions and unfortunately at times, I don’t get much done. Especially if I get stuck on watching videos or film shorts on social – it sucks up all my time.

Thankfully, unlike many, I can stop myself from doing that. I am so glad I can do that and set my schedule straight.

Any tips/tricks you all have to keep things sane and organized?

How to do you say on task while working from home?

Any apps apart from calendars/reminders that help you? would love to learn…

till then, keep the positive vibes…
